Areas along the South Platte River and Cherry Creek have been block cleared as there is sufficient information to indicate the UTLO are absent. In designating a block clearance zone, the requirement that individuals and agencies coordinate with the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service before impacting potential riparian habitats inside the zone is eliminated.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

The block clearance zone boundary for the ULTO was established in 2016 and renewed in 2019 based on the best available trapping records and habitat evaluations. Block clearance zones for the Ute ladies'-tresses orchid are effective until December 10, 2022.<\/span><\/span><\/p>
